Supposed to be in Granby from July 3-8, 2007. May not be these dates or that location - all up in the air as of Feb 22 / 07. Last year we had to pester them for information up until the last minute so don't make any firm plans early.

Climb 3,500 feet up scenic Whiteface Mountain Veteran�s Memorial Highway to the top of New York's 5th highest peak for a 360 degree view of the Adirondacks, New England and Montreal. Course length is 7.83942 miles and is USATF certified. Start: 5:30 p.m. - Starting line is at the junction of Routes 86 and 431 in Wilmington. Four waves will be launched by age group. Each wave will be time for up to 2 hours.

Bicycles Belong Ride

On June 6th, 2006, officer Greg Stobbart was killed during a training ride on Termaine Rd. in the Halton region. Greg was an avid athlete and cycling enthusiast. He is the third cyclist to be killed while training on Termaine Rd. in the last few years. As a result of this tragedy, Racer Sportif has chosen the Halton Region - a haven for cyclists and triathletes - as the location to hold the first annual "Share the Road" ride. This 60 km charity and awareness ride will take place on October 1st. The objective of the ride is to heighten awareness about the need for drivers and cyclists to share the road safely, and the importance of creating safer roads for cyclists. The ride will serve as the official launch of the "Share the Road" campaign, and proceeds from the ride will be donated to the campaign.

The classic Hidden Valley loop is the venue once again for the 19th annual edition of this venerable race. The 2006 version of the K-W Classic takes place on the original scenic 4.6 km loop featuring some challenging terrain including the infamous S-curve into the final corner. The course is full of excellent vantage points to watch if you're spectating or taking pictures. Riders descend a high-speed 700m downhill section, negotiating one corner along the way, then ascend two torturous climbs per lap with the main climb featuring a short but extra steep sting near the very top.

Ride for Heart

The Toronto Becel Heart&Stroke Ride for Heart is a great opportunity to cruise major highways that are normally off limits for bikes. Because on June 4th, for one day only, they become one big heart-pumping bike lane. Cyclists can choose from 25, 50 and 75 km routes.
